The Role 

We are hiring a self-motivated SEO Strategist. You will work directly with clients and other Strategists at Nifty to ensure clients marketing strategies are executed properly, that they are getting the desired results and staying within budget. You will coordinate with other departments (design, development, digital advertising etc.) to deliver the highest quality of work and ensure that all aspects of the clients’ marketing strategy are compatible.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop custom online marketing strategies for clients that drive new leads through multiple channels
  • Communicate with clients on a regular basis via email, phone and video conferencing
  • Manage clients marketing budgets in an effective and efficient manner
  • Track project costs and time in order to meet budget
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan and put together monthly reports on results and progress
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Maintain a positive attitude and bring value to our company culture

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years experience with SEO project management.
  • Experience working with the WordPress CMS platform, basic HTML knowledge & ability.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing SEO campaigns to increase organic traffic
    and leads from clients' websites while staying within a predefined budget. Applicants
    must be ready & willing to discuss.
  • Experience analyzing SEO campaigns with Google Analytics and Search Console to
    make effective changes & explaining the impacts of the campaign to the end client.
  • Effective communication skills with multiple people involved in search marketing
    campaigns from development, ads managers through the end client to effectively
    communicate campaign progress & keep initiatives on track.
  • Deep understanding of SEO tactics, on-site and offsite, technical, industry best
    practices, current & past industry trends, as well as black hat tactics to avoid.
  • Solid understanding & experience with using keyword research to effectively direct
    content development efforts and adjust existing content, URL, title, metas, headings, etc.
    with the ability to explain and justify efforts to the client.
  • Writing: Ability to write effective titles, headings, meta descriptions, etc. and make
    adjustments to content (onsite and off) for effective keyword usage, flow & calls to
    action. Solid grammar, spelling vocabulary & editing skills.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to figure things out & research solutions to
    problems on your own.
  • Familiar with using third-party tools like Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Bright Local, etc. for
    campaign analysis & adjustments.
  • Ability to perform technical site, content and competitor audits to apply findings for
    ongoing refinement of search progress.
  • Effective client communication skills, ability to upsell products and services when
    deemed beneficial.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with reporting & discussing campaigns
    progress/needs with clients.
  • Ability to discuss and demonstrate effective link acquisition strategies and recognize
    quality/effective links vs. potentially harmful, ineffective links acquisition strategies.

  • May be requested to work overtime and weekends if deemed necessary
  • Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds

In this position, you’ll work in a variety of platforms including Google ads (PPC), Bing ads (PPC), Facebook ads, YouTube ads, and more. The Role 

We are looking to hire a WordPress developer to implement attractive and functional websites for our clients. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins, site integrations, and security updates, when necessary.

To be a successful WordPress developer with Nifty, you will have knowledge of front-end programming languages, a good eye for aesthetics, and a good idea of content management skills focused on SEO. You will be positive and a team-player who is willing to ask questions and can receive feedback and constructive criticism about your work. You are self-driven and work independently but also willing to work collaboratively on a team. You are flexible and will be able to jump around to different projects when needed. You take pride in your work and strive to deliver the highest quality results to clients and other project managers in the company. Responsibilities:

  • Creating websites from design files while focusing on core web vitals and SEO
  • Designing and building the website architecture from proprietary themes
  • Working with the development and design team to manage tasks and workflows
  • Designing and managing a Wordpress environment from start to finish, sometimes including database and server integration. This includes migrating websites, developing websites, testing websites, deploying websites, and maintaining websites
  • Conducting website performance tests and testing code for efficiency and speed
  • Receiving feedback from other development and design members
  • Troubleshooting content and design issues on all sites, including new and legacy sites as well as other projects from directors or project managers
  • Training and instruction will be provided to ensure you succeed in our company

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Experience working with Wordpress PHP backends, including the shortcode APIs and hooks, is preferred
  • Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
  • Can create a functional website from a PSD design file, being able to extract assets from a PSD file
  • Photoshop knowledge, with basic image manipulation skills
  • Experience designing and developing responsive design websites, including an understanding of flexbox
  • Comfortable working with debugging tools like, Chrome inspector, Firebug, etc.
  • Can design for cross-browser compatibility (not including IE)
  • Ability to develop without frameworks or libraries
  • Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
  • Experience with Node.js and React.js a plus, but not required
  • Familiarity with FTP clients
  • Efficiency at using text editors, such as Sublime Text 3 or Visual Studio, as well as the Wordpress backend editor
  • Must be willing to work on Mac devices and adapt to different company workflows and processes
  • Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
  • Some familiarity with DNS records, nameservers, and hosting
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time
  • Good communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but experience will be highly considered
